Review: The Dark Streets by John Shannon

Today in January Magazine’s crime fiction section, contributing editor Kevin Burton Smith waxes euphoric about John Shannon’s latest Jack Liffey novel. Says Smith:
Because right now there’s nobody -- and I mean, nobody -- in crime fiction or the broader realm of literature who writes about Los Angeles (and us) as powerfully and with such keen vision, wit and passion as Shannon does.
